Frozen Mango Lemonade

This spin on frozen lemonade is delicious, refreshing, and fun! It’s also super easy to make and adjust if you prefer it more tart or more sweet.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups frozen cubed mango
  • 6 Tablespoons lemon juice from 2-3 large lemons
  • 2 Tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 and 1/3 cups water

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in a high-powered blender and process until smooth. Sample and add additional sugar to taste, if desired. If the lemonade is already too sweet for your tastes, add more lemon juice, one or two small squeezes at a time. Blend again to incorporate evenly.
  • Divide among glasses and serve right away.

Notes

  • Non-frozen lemonade? This is designed to drink right away, frozen like a slushie. If you have extra and store it in the fridge, the flavor will be the same, but some pulp from the mango will become discernible. To drink it as a non-frozen lemonade after this point, I suggest straining the liquid through a fine mesh strainer, then drinking.
  • Yield? 3-4 glasses. I’d make this as written (with 2 cups mango) as an afternoon treat for myself and my kids, but if serving guests or a larger crowd, definitely double it. Simply increase all amounts 2x; no other changes needed.
  • Adult variation? If you want to make this an “adult” lemonade, replace up to 1/3 cup of the water with vodka or gin.
