Fresh, fast dinners!

Crockpot

The slow cooker is a trusty companion with a reputation for delivering homey sorts of meals — which I think is a wonderful thing! Whether you rely on the Crockpot for dinner after long days at work, long evenings at kids’ activities, or just because it’s convenient to front load the heavy lifting of dinner prep, slow cooking is a special kind of mealtime magic.

My personal favorite slow cooker “hack”? Make a double batch of shredded Mexican chicken or BBQ chicken. Eat half for a couple of meals throughout the week, and freeze the other half for a zero-effort protein the next time you need it.
